Time for New Flooring? Try Cork!

Whether you’re building a new home or remodeling, it’s likely that one of the most important choices you’ll make is which type of flooring to use. Flooring has the distinction of being just as important functionally as it aesthetically. Even in the smallest rooms, your flooring will get noticed, and can make or break a room’s attractiveness factor. But flooring shouldn’t just look good, it should also be comfortable, and be able to stand up to the stress of foot traffic, movement, heavy furniture and more.

The Benefits of Cork Flooring

If you’re looking for a durable floor that is as nice to walk on as it is to look at, cork flooring is the perfect choice. It is able to stand up to heavy foot traffic, making cork a perfect choice for living rooms, entryways, and other heavily used rooms. It is also easy to maintain and repair, reducing costs overall. Moreover, cork flooring is renowned for its ability to act as a natural insulator.

Try Cork Wall Tiles for a Unique Look in any Room

Of course, cork isn’t just suitable for flooring, it also makes an excellent wall covering as well, especially due to its ability to absorb sound and vibration. Cork wall tiles are highly versatile and can create a unique, attractive look in any room. Choose cork wall tiles for noisy rooms, or for rooms such as bedrooms where peace and quiet are most important.

The Beauty of Cork Flooring and Cork Wall Tiles

While cork flooring and cork wall tiles serve great functional purpose, it’s the beauty of this natural material that makes it such a popular choice. While many people have a single image in mind when they think of cork, the truth is there are many different types and designs, in a variety of colors and hues. Choose from deep ebony or room-brightening blizzard tiles. Enhance your décor with textures like orangewood or grape tiles.
