Shipping Rate Adjustments

Standard shipping rates are provided for your order during checkout with the exception of flooring items (i.e. ANY of our Floating Cork Floor Planks or Parquet Cork Floor Tiles). The actual shipping rates may be higher for various reasons unique to your order size or weight and delivery location. AmCork reserves the right to modify your shipping rate as needed to fulfill your order. We will contact you prior to processing your order if there are any changes to the shipping rate provided during checkout.  For any of our Floating Cork Floor Planks or Parquet Cork Floor Tiles items we will contact you prior to processing your order to agree upon the best shipping method and shipping rate which will be a separate charge on your credit card.

Freight & Taxes

Freight is based from AmCork’s location or warehouse center. AmCork’s preferred method of shipping is USPS, UPS, or R&L Carriers however we reserve the right to select any carrier unless other terms are agreed upon in writing. Freight and/or any taxes are not included in the product price.

Delivery & Recieveing

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to fully inspect the material upon receipt. Freight carriers will ask for a signature which also specifies that you are signing for goods in excellent condition. If any damages are visible it is the customer’s responsibility to write how many damaged cartons there are along with their signature on the receipt (i.e. 1 carton damaged – Jane Doe). You must retain a copy to submit to AmCork in order to process your claim. It is always helpful if photographs can be taken of the damages while the goods are still on the pallet. DO NOT discard any of the damaged goods or shipping materials (i.e. broken pallet, shrink wrap, etc.) as the carrier has the right to take possession of all claim items during inspection. If your shipment is received with excessive damages have the driver notate this on the documents and refuse the entire shipment. Please contact us right away to report any delivery issues. Any damages must be reported to AmCork within 5 business days of receipt in order to process a claim.
